It is normal to lose a certain amount of hair. The average person has over 100,000 hairs on his or her head and loses up to one hundreds of them each day. Each individual hair goes through three stages. First, is the anagen phase, in which the hair actually grows. Next is the catagen phase, which is the intermediate phase - your hair is developed, you shampoo it, cut it, etc. Finally is the telogen phase, which is when the hair naturally falls out. People suffering from hair loss are of course concerned with all three stages, particularly forming new hair and keeping it from falling out prematurely. While there are different factors which cause hair loss, the goal of those suffering is the same: to find the best hair loss treatment.
Here are some useful questions to ask when you are searching for a remedy to ensure that you get the best hair loss treatment for you:
1. Do I want to use medications, surgery, or natural treatments? Each has its own benefits and drawbacks regarding efficacy, cost, convenience, and more.
2. Is the option I'm considering safe? Some medications, for instance, are not recommended for pregnant women or women who may become pregnant or those with heart issues. Do you have health conditions which may make the treatment less effective or even damaging to your health? If so, it may be important to check with your doctor or homeopath to ensure you won't do any serious damage to your body with the treatment method you choose.
3. Is it effective? That is the biggest question - will it work? When trying to determine this, look at the cause of your hair loss. For instance, aromatherapy is useful for treatment of stress-related hair loss, but may not be effective for treating hereditary baldness. Hair transplantation surgery may be effective for men more so than women. Is the option you're considering the best hair loss treatment given your specific conditions?
4. Will it work for me? If you are a woman experiencing hair loss, you will find a host of products designed for male pattern baldness. Because women's hormones work very differently than men's, is there a product that you can find that is formulated specifically for women? For instance, Provillus has created two distinct treatments so women can be treated as well as men.
5. Can I afford it? Cost is often a deciding factor in many people's purchases, and it definitely applies to finding the best hair loss treatment. Surgery, for instance, can cost $7000 or more. That is not a viable option for many people. Can you afford to take the medications, which need to be taken continually in order to work? If cost is an issue, a natural hair loss formula may be your best option.
6. What ingredients are included? Several vitamins and herbs have long been used to treat baldness, such as Vitamin B6, biotin, saw palmetto, and nettle. The best products will use these time-tested ingredients.
7. Will it help prevent more loss of hair as well as promote new hair growth? This is an important consideration for those who want to get back their former thick heads of hair. Provillus is considered the best hair loss treatment available because it uses the vitamins and herbs mentioned above, as well as the FDA-approved medication, minoxidil. Minoxidil helps promote new hair growth.
You deserve to have the confidence and self-esteem that comes with having healthy, beautiful hair. Take some time to answer these questions so you can find the best hair loss treatment for your needs and desires.

Is there a cure for hereditary baldness?
Baldness and hair loss in both men and women is a more common than people might think. Reports have show that around 90% of both women and men have some sort of hair issues in their lives, whether it be the hair falling out, hair thinning or in some cases going completely bald.
There is a stigma that is attached to a person who is 'going thin on top' and likewise it is not unusual for a person to have a confidence problem or suffer from an inferiority complex. You will however be pleased to know that for the majority of cases there could be an answer to your problem.
The most common case of hair loss in both men and women is genetic. A massive 95% of all hair loss problems are caused by this. If you have a member of your family that suffers from hair loss then it is highly likely that you also will suffer from this problem too. It is hereditary and as much as you may want to blame you mother or father, I'm afraid there is nothing that they could have done to not pass this on to you.
However, you will be pleased to know that there are products available that can help with hereditary loss of hair. Medical studies have found that one of the major contributing factors to this problem is caused by the hormone Dihydro Testosterone (often referred to as DHT). Extreme quantities of DHT is found to block the hair follicles with in turn results in problems with hair growth.
There are many different products on the market that promote the regrowth of your hair naturally. My advice would be to make sure that read through their literature to make sure you are comfortable with what they are offering.
The main thing to look out for is to make sure that the product contains a natural DHT blocker, which will enable the follicles to start promoting the regrowth of hair naturally. The ingredient Minoxidil is clinically proven to do this and is approved and tested by the FDA. As well as Minoxidil you also want to make sure that the product contains enough nutrients to nourish your hair so it is nice and healthy.
I hope that you are now encouraged to know that there is a cure for most cases of baldness or hair thinning and at last you can have that healthy head of hair you have wished for.

Is there any proper solution for balding?
Finding good hair loss solutions for the thinning and balding areas on your scalp is something you share with millions of people today. While many would consider their hair loss is due to genetics, many people that suffer from alopecia, or other conditions of baldness, simply do not know what to do other than to shave their heads, wear bigger hats or just resent their ancestors. Fortunately, there are many solutions for hair growth as there are many types of treatments to reduce, reverse or regenerate hair loss.
If you are like most people, your loss of hair has been a slow gradual process. If it hasn't been, the balding and thinning areas on your scalp may be due to a nutritional deficiency, taking too many heavy medications, or an overall hormonal imbalance. Traditionally, this is the easiest type of baldness to cure.
Male hormone dihydrotestosterone (DHT) affects a high percentage of men that are losing their hair. The sebaceous glands and hair follicles use a specific enzyme to convert the testosterone in the male's body into DHT. When, for whatever reason, this dihydrotestosterone begins to bind with the hair follicle it generally leads to balding or thinning. As each individual hair cycles through growing, falling out and re-growing it begins to miniaturize, or make each strand of hair become thinner each time.
There are many hair loss solutions if you suffer from alopecia or hormonal imbalance. Many topical creams and gels have restorative medications specifically designed to target your hair growth problems. Some of these topical or oral medications include anti-inflammatories, DHT blockers, growth stimulators and Superoxide Dismutase.
Alternatively, you can have instant restoration through transplant surgery, laser hair restoration (using low-level laser therapies), hair replacement systems (such as toupees and wigs) and therapy programs. Generally many of these drastic hair loss solutions are for those with advanced loss of hair. Using over-the-counter medications such as Propecia and Rogaine can be of great benefit to you if you are at the beginning stages.
While older men and women might remember the days when unattractive hair plugs were commonplace, today surgeons use "micro-grafting" or follicular unit transplantation. A qualified experienced surgeon takes hair from other areas of your scalp and arranges it in the needed areas to create a more natural looking hairline.
The best hair loss solution for you is the one that is best suited to your needs. If you truly are at the beginning stages of hair loss you might want to consider over-the-counter medications. If you think your loss of hair is due to a hormonal imbalance, taking natural supplements and vitamins might be the answer to rejuvenate and restore your thinning hair. If you find you are at the last stage of hair loss, and have been balding in certain areas for a long time, surgeries and hair rejuvenating systems might be the perfect hair loss solution for you.

What can you legally do for self defense in public
Okay so you have made a conscious decision to get a non lethal self defense weapon instead of a handgun. Now what?
Non lethal self-defense weapons are gaining in popularity because they are effective against attacks. Martial arts and other self-defense courses are great to learn, but for many people, they take too much time to learn and can be expensive. You are not always going to have the opportunity to use learned self-defense skills. Non lethal self defense weapons such as stun guns, pepper sprays, tasers, etc. are a more practical way to go.
Before you go out and purchase a non lethal self-defense weapon you should consider some of the following points:
Which is best for you?
Study and learn as much as you can. See what weapon is going to be right for you both on a physical and mental level.
Learn how to use it.
Having a self defense weapon and not knowing how to use it can injure you as easily as it can hurt your assailant. Once you have chosen a self-defense product, ask for proper instructions on how to use it, or take a course in using the products properly. Then
Practice using it until it becomes second nature.
Self defense products can get you out of a bad situation - there is no doubt about that. Unless you know what you need, how to use that product, and the legality of it, you may be getting into trouble. You can actually do yourself more harm that good by not doing your homework before you invest time and money into self-defense products. They can save your life, your money and provide you with peace of mind.

Is Yoga good for health?
Yoga has increased in popularity in recent years, with an estimated 6 million Americans currently engaging in regular yoga workouts. Part of yoga's popularity is simply that it provides so many health benefits. Yoga assists a person in becoming more aware of their body: their posture, their alignment, and the way they move. Yoga helps people become more relaxed and centered, less prone to stress, more energetic, happier, healthier, and more peaceful.
To start a typical yoga class, breathing and mild stretching exercises are performed to prepare the participants mentally as well as physically. Most yoga classes consist of performing the asanas (yoga poses) either individually or linked in flows (known as vinyasana). At the end of each yoga class there is a short period of meditation or relaxation in shavasana (the corpse pose).
There are several forms of yoga which can be practiced. Generally different forms of yoga produce different benefits. For example, Iyengar yoga is for correct bodily alignment, and often utilizes props (including blocks, straps, or cushions). Bikram yoga is also known as hot yoga, as it's performed in a heated room. It generally consists of a set of 26 poses done in a particular order. These are both forms of Hatha yoga and are commonly practiced in the US, as they focus on the use of strengthening and breathing exercises.
What can yoga do for you? Firstly, it is extremely beneficial in the promotion of excellent flexibility, and is also excellent for circulation and development of muscle strength. However, yoga's benefits extend beyond the physical, by promoting relaxation and calm. One of the basic tenets of yoga is that it helps to balance all areas of a person's life by improving physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health.
From a scientific standpoint, yoga has been studied and practiced for thousands of years. While the practice is ancient, the principles of yoga have been studied and proven by modern medicine to be beneficial. Over the years, substantial research as been done on the health benefits of yoga, through the yoga poses and through Pranayama (yoga breathing). Yoga has been shown to produce three sorts of effects on the body: physiological, psychological, and biochemical.
Some of the physiological benefits of yoga include: reduction in pulse and respiratory rate, decrease in blood pressure, increased cardiovascular efficiency, improvement in excretory functions, improvement in hand/eye coordination, normalization of weight, and decrease in pain. The psychological benefits of yoga are just as important and include: mood and subjective well-being increases, anxiety and depression decrease, concentration improves, learning improves, social skills improve, depth perception improves, and self acceptance increases. Finally, the biochemical improvements that yoga promotes include: blood glucose decreases, sodium decreases, HDL cholesterol increases, LDL and VLDL cholesterol decreases, hemoglobin increases, total serum proteins increase, and the total white blood cell count decreases.
One of the best things about yoga is that as a single practice it can do so much more for the body than most other forms of exercise, and as such can easily fit into even the busiest lifestyle.

Is the Keto diet safe?
A new twist on extreme weight loss is catching on in some parts
of the United States. It’s called the "keto diet."
People promoting the diet say it uses the body’s own fat burning
system to help people lose significant weight in as little as 10 days.
It has also been known to help moderate the symptoms of children
with epilepsy, although experts are not quite sure why it works.
Proponents say the diet can produce quick weight loss and
provide a person with more energy.
However, critics say the diet is an unhealthy way to lose weight
and in some instances it can be downright dangerous.
Critics say the keto-type diets usually work only in the short
term and can be unhealthy.
For starters, most of the lost weight is water weight, according
to Lisa Cimperman, R.D.N., a clinical dietitian at University Hospitals Case
Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio, and a spokesperson for the Academy of Nutrition
and Dietetics.
“Once your body enters ketosis, you also begin to lose muscle,
become extremely fatigued, and eventually enter starvation mode. Then it
actually becomes even harder to lose weight,” Cimperman told Healthline.
Mawer said he doesn’t believe the keto diet causes muscle loss.
He did caution it’s not optimal for someone trying to gain muscle.
Other experts interviewed by Healthline had stronger words of
caution.
“Keto diets should only be used under clinical supervision and
only for brief periods,” Francine Blinten, R.D., a certified clinical
nutritionist and public health consultant in Old Greenwich, Connecticut, told
Healthline. “They have worked successfully on some cancer patients in
conjunction with chemotherapy to shrink tumors and to reduce seizures among
people suffering from epilepsy.”
In the general population, Blinten said a keto diet should only
be considered in extreme cases.
“It can do more harm than good. It can damage the heart, which
is also a muscle,” she explained.
Anyone with type 2 diabetes can benefit from weight loss and a
reduced-carb diet because it will improve insulin sensitivity, Cimperman
explained.
“But there are many other ways to do it besides a fad diet that
won’t keep weight off long-term,” she said.
Blinten, who has used a keto diet for some cancer patients in
specific circumstances, cautioned, “people will do anything to get the weight
off.” However, a keto diet will do more harm than good for the majority of
patients, especially if they have any underlying kidney or liver issues.
“People are using this for cosmetic reasons, but it’s so extreme
that it’s dangerous,” she said.
The keto diet was created by Dr. Gianfranco Cappello, an
associate professor of surgery at the Sapienza University in Rome, Italy.
He claims great success among thousands of users. In his study,
more than 19,000 dieters experienced significant, rapid weight loss, few side
effects, and most kept the weight off after a year.
According to the reported results, patients lost an average of
10.2 kilograms, or about 22 pounds, after 2.5 cycles of the keto diet. Cappello
concluded that the diet was a successful way for overweight and obese people to
lose weight, and the few side effects, such as fatigue, are easily managed.
Bette Klein, a registered dietitian at Cleveland Clinic
Children’s Hospital, has used the keto diet for years to help ease the symptoms
of children with epilepsy.
She told Healthline it is particularly effective with children
with refractory epilepsy who have not responded well to at least two different
drug treatments.
Klein said about half of these children who go on the diet see a
reduction in the number of seizures they have.
The dietitian said, however, that medical professionals are not
sure why the diet works in these cases.
“There is not a clear definition of what is happening,” she
said.
Rudy Mawer, a
sports nutritionist, has also found some success with the keto type of diet.
He said he uses this low-carb approach with some people who have
trouble losing weight. He also has high performing athletes on the plan.
Mawer told Healthline there are a number of benefits to the
program.
One benefit is its quick results. People can lose some initial
weight rapidly and that, in turn, helps encourage them.
“You can get motivated by this weight loss,” he said.
He added the keto diet is simple in concept. It eliminates a food
group, making it easier for people to follow.
He said the diet also makes people feel full despite having
fewer calories and it gives them more energy. That’s because, he said, people
are giving up their sluggish diet of processed foods. He added the keto diet
keeps blood sugar levels stable, which produces a more stable flow of energy.
Mawer notes there are some drawbacks.
He said the diet would not necessarily improve athletic
performance, a fact that may discourage some athletes.
He added people need to adhere closely to the program or it will
not work.
“It is a very strict diet,” said Mawer. “You have to do
everything right.”
Every individual, he notes, is different and will react
differently to such a program.
“What’s great for one person can be horrible for another
person,” he said.
How difficult is it to train a husky?
Training a Husky is not that difficult if you understand what is required, but can be next to impossible if you don't. In order to be successful you will need to learn how to be the leader, how to deal with his stubbornness, and how to be consistent. Once you have read this article, you will be able to understand how to properly train your Husky.
One of the most important aspects of training a Husky is showing to him that you are the leader. If you want him to listen to you, he needs to see you as the leader. Since Huskies are pack dogs and are used to living in groups, one of them needs to be the leader in order for everyone to feel safe and secure. However, if you are unable to show to him that you are the leader he will try to be the leader himself. This will eventually lead to a lot of other problems in the future including a lot of undesirable behavior. One way to show him that you're in charge is whenever he is in your way, instead of moving around him, make him move out of your way. If you walk around him he will feel you are being submissive to him and get the impression that he is the leader. By becoming the leader, he will be more willing to listen to your commands.
If you want to be successful in training your Husky, you will need to be able to deal with his stubbornness. Huskies are intelligent dogs, but this also means they have a tendency to be stubborn as well. In order to get him to do what you want, you first need to learn how to grab his attention. The best way to get his attention is to hold onto a treat or toy while you are training him. Every time he does something correct, give him the treat or toy. He will eventually learn to associate his good behavior with rewards and will be more likely to perform these actions in the future. One thing you should not do is yell or scream at him when he is being stubborn as he will just continue to ignore you. By knowing how to handle his stubbornness, it will be a lot easier for you to get his attention.
Another important aspect of training a Husky is being consistent. If you aren't consistent when training him, you might as well not bother with it at all. In order to be consistent you need to start from the first day he arrives at your house. If you do not want him on your couch, then you need to make sure he is never allowed on the couch. If you don't allow him on your couch one day but then you do another day, he will only become confused and will not know which is right and wrong. If you can stay consistent, you will see great progress with your training.
Training a Husky is a difficult task if you don't understand what is required to be successful. You need to show him you are the leader, know how to deal with his stubbornness, and make sure you are consistent. If you can follow all of these steps, you will go a long way towards successfully having a well trained Husky.
